As a general rule, your concealer should match your foundation perfectly. However, if you have particularly dark circles, it’s best to opt for a shade darker than usual to avoid a reverse “panda effect” (lighter circles just around your eyes). In this case, the aim is to colour correct and neutralize the area rather than to provide heavy coverage.
